Rather obviously, EkU! didn't ever go into real production. Another reminder of why I usually don't work with other people on purely-voluntary projects. I ended up doing most of the development work, and realized I'd be doing most of the production... I already have enough independent projects of my own.
HOWEVER! The Adventures of Perl Girl! has gone into production. I have 2 pages fully done, 1 page mostly-penciled, and thumbnails for the next several pages after that [and a loose outline for the remainder of the issue]. Although I cannot make any promises, I suspect I will at least post the first few pages by October [in time for Archon!].
Speaking of Archon, I've updated the Minion Page [finally], there are two new tasks. I've also updated the comics page a little bit [moved things around on the current/future pages, actually posted links!], and mentioned in "The Outside" that I'm now on twitter -- add me if you like.
Other than that, I'm going back to school this weekend, senior year here I come. I'm considering learning CSS so I can make this page look better [depending on the machine the graphics for the Mroo Art part are sticking out, 'skinda bothersome]. It will also make the site cleaner and more consistent [and more updated with the real world, sigh]...
See you guys in October!

Although nothing has changed on the site itself, I felt I should show up and provide an update: EkU! should be airing in late January or sometime in February, I'm guessing. We've constructed a storyboard for the first arc with some degree of detail, the first two strips have been written, and more scripts are on the way. The campus is being mapped, buildings are being designed, decisions are being made!
In other comic news, backstory is still being worked on for Eledrine's Key. I've still got to make character reference shets [both for it and EkU!, actually], but that's all coming soon. I'll try to post some concept art in January [my scanner is in Des Moines and photos never turn out that well].
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled, folks, as things are actually afoot!

And once more, the site attempts to regain life. The intro-page graphics need to be cleaned up, but I really don't enjoy working on graphic design so I'm going to leave that aside for now. I'm just posting it so you guys know that it really has been worked on some...
The comic has been seeing some work too. Multiple comics, actually, have been seeing some progress, but one more than the rest. I've also started considering animating one of my comic ideas, simply because the 'art style' [I feel kind of cheap calling it that] lends itself to animation. More information on that in the future!
Although I've not been particularly working on the Minion site, I have been brewing plans for it. Don't expect much of anything until next semester though, unless otherwise mentioned here! Also, I've registered on Etsy.com, but am uncertain as to when I'm opening shop. It will be noted here, of course.
Also, I suppose I should note that I have plans for reopening the gallery, but I don't know when. Likely after either comic or animation launch. I appreciate everyone's patience, thank you!

After recovering from Archon, I spent a week in Ohio, and then I started seeing friends a ton since I'm going back to school on Saturday. Hopefully a week into school there will be more updates here, I apologize if that's not the case. There's some chance my job[s] will eat me -- I'm the system admin for two of the labs on campus, and both of them are undergoing massive system upgrades [that is to say, entirely new machines and servers]. Naturally, I don't get back until 2 days before classes start. Even more naturally, the professors expect the systems to already be up and running. Now. One of the labs is only remotely accessible through the other, and that one isn't remotely accessible at all right now. In other words, I'm screwed. So I'm going to be spending at least the first week frantically trying to fix the labs up as best I can, meaning no time to script the gallery, work on webdesign, or yknow, upload sketches. If it's 2 weeks into classes and still no update from me, feel free to email me to make sure I'm still alive.

Oof. I'm exhausted and not planning on spending any time putting new stuff on the site, but... Thanks for dropping by my table in the Artists Alley! I appreciate the entertainment and such. Double thanks to my minions because...that's just awesome ^_^
As far as updating the website goes... I intend to clean things up about here a little bit by Thursday, but no promises on how much... but after that don't expect me to do much for about a week and a half. Following that I've got about a week before classes start so we'll see... As always, feel free to prod me by email [or other methods, if you know of any]. See ya around!

What a shock -- Archon right around the corner and she's at the editing-the-website-again business. Heh.
I've temporarily disabled the gallery -- it's a mess and mostly full of old images, and I'd like to properly reformat it rather than making sad attempts at vaguely patching it up. Relaunch will be...sometime after Archon. Perhaps late August, perhaps not. If you become impatient regarding it, feel free to give me a prod.
The shop is still not alive yet. I'm thinking about posting stuff on Etsy until I put my own shop together, which may be for the best for now anyway. More on that in the future when I'm not so focused on Archon, hmm?
Things that actually are getting done: I'll have at least 2 prints available at Archon, possibly 3-4. There will also be a semi-abundance of Mroolets and who knows what other madness. I'm also working on putting together a little something for my Minions, so keep an eye out. Overall, not very satisfying news to read, but things are in the works!

Gasp! The site is starting to come back to life! I've been working on graphic design! I've been cleaning up the html! What in the hell is going on?!!
I don't rightly know. Anyway, I'm still working on pulling together the graphics for MrooArt [if you've gone to gallery or about, you know what I mean -- I need to redesign the submenus]. I've started graphics for MrooCast [it looks pretty sexy so far, if I may say so myself]. The Comics and Portfolio sections remain untouched, but I'm confident with my present level of motivation that I'll at least start working on them. Exciting!
I'm leaving DsM in a week and a half [meaning finals are nearly upon us], so don't necessarily expect any updates until the 14th, ish. You guys should know better by now anyway =oP ...Here's hoping that the site is ready for launch by June!
